The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting staff, laboratory samples and other materials while ensuring that company vehicles remain clean, properly maintained and roadworthy.
Job Description
Clinix Healthcare Nigeria is looking for a reliable, careful and professional Driver to join its Badagry branch.
The successful candidate will handle official transportation duties, including transporting staff and laboratory samples, while maintaining high standards of safety, punctuality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
The Driver will be responsible for:
- Driving company vehicles safely and responsibly for official assignments.
- Transporting staff, laboratory samples and other materials as required.
- Keeping the assigned vehicle clean, well-maintained and roadworthy.
- Performing basic vehicle checks, including fuel, oil and tyre inspections.
- Reporting vehicle faults and maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintaining accurate records of trips, fuel usage and vehicle maintenance.
- Following traffic regulations and company transport policies.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items when necessary.
- Maintaining punctuality and professional conduct at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- A minimum of SSCE, WAEC or equivalent qualification.
- Previous driving experience, preferably in a healthcare, corporate or similar organization.
- A valid Nigerian driver’s license with relevant categories.
- A clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of Lagos and Badagry roads.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Basic English-speaking and communication skills.
- Good communication skills and a polite disposition.
- A careful, responsible and safety-conscious attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
- Honesty, reliability and trustworthiness.
