DP World is recruiting an Officer, Distribution Partnership in Lagos to support the management and growth of distribution services across Nigeria. The role focuses on strengthening distribution partnerships, improving operational efficiency, managing service-level performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Officer, Distribution Partnership will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and distribution partners to coordinate deliveries, monitor performance, manage costs, and improve distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve operational results.
- Identify resources and allocate workloads effectively.
- Coordinate end-to-end trip status settlement with the accounting team.
- Support prompt payment processing and accurate cost recognition.
- Participate in Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) reviews and project execution.
- Schedule and conduct training programmes for team members.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Respond to customer queries and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Plan and schedule deliveries according to customer requirements.
- Review and improve distribution processes to enhance service quality.
- Develop cost-reduction initiatives without compromising productivity or service quality.
- Monitor distribution budgets and ensure expenses remain within approved limits.
- Negotiate costs with vendors and provide suitable solutions for bulk distribution requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in customer service or customer experience management.
- Knowledge of supply chain management.
- Experience in distribution management.
- Understanding of logistics operations and third-party distribution models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong relationship-management and sales skills.
