12Basket Foods, a premium Nigerian catering brand specialising in small chops, finger foods, and event catering, is recruiting a Social Media Intern in Lagos.
The Social Media Intern will support the brand’s digital marketing activities through creative content production, social media management, short-form video creation, audience engagement, and campaign support across major social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Plan and maintain the social media content calendar.
- Shoot and edit short-form videos, Reels, product videos, and promotional content.
- Edit videos using CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Add captions, transitions, music, effects, and other creative elements to video content.
- Take and edit product photographs and other visual materials.
- Develop creative content ideas that showcase FMCG products and increase brand awareness.
- Assist with video production during events.
- Monitor social media trends and recommend relevant content ideas.
- Manage comments, direct messages, and audience engagement professionally.
- Support product launches, promotions, marketing campaigns, and brand activations.
- Track social media performance and prepare basic engagement reports.
- Perform other marketing and social media duties as assigned.
Requirements
- OND, HND, B.Sc., or currently studying Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Ability to shoot and edit engaging videos is essential.
- Knowledge of CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools is an advantage.
- Creative, confident, and comfortable appearing in or producing social media content.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
