Job Summary
Ren San & Co. is recruiting a Project Officer to support the Founder in managing the day-to-day operations and execution of various projects and initiatives.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on support across project planning and execution, grant applications, events, monitoring and evaluation, communications, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring projects remain aligned with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Provide hands-on execution support for project activities and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
- Support grant application and implementation processes, including identifying funding opportunities and preparing proposals.
- Manage project timelines and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate projects and events using defined performance indicators.
- Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative project data.
- Identify opportunities for project improvement and optimisation.
- Manage relationships with partners, beneficiaries, and other key stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships.
Project and Events Coordination
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate events, workshops, and other project-related activities.
- Ensure effective event logistics and quality delivery.
- Coordinate volunteers and ad hoc staff, including onboarding, scheduling, and supervision.
- Provide hands-on support throughout project and event execution.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure organisational standards are maintained.
- Support the training, mentorship, and development of junior team members.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
- Develop and implement monitoring frameworks and tools.
- Track project progress, outcomes, and impact.
- Analyse project data to identify trends, successes, and areas requiring improvement.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
- Share monitoring findings with internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the development and implementation of communication strategies.
- Engage with media, donors, community stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries.
- Coordinate project-related content for reports, newsletters, social media, and donor communications.
- Help strengthen awareness and visibility of projects and organisational initiatives.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare timely reports on project activities, outcomes, and performance.
- Contribute to annual reports and other stakeholder reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes.
- Support transparency, accountability, and organisational knowledge sharing.
- Provide evidence-based insights to support strategic planning.
Data Protection and Confidentiality
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling executive, project, and personal information.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data protection requirements and internal policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Previous experience in project or programme management or coordination, preferably within an NGO or non-profit organisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
