Zipline Nigeria is recruiting for the position of Senior Logistics Analyst, Nigeria in Lagos. Zipline operates autonomous aircraft and logistics networks that deliver critical medical supplies, and this role will oversee the company’s logistics operations across Nigeria.
The Senior Logistics Analyst will manage the end-to-end movement of finished goods, aircraft and ground-equipment spares, and production materials, covering international freight, customs clearance, warehousing, inventory management, inland transportation, and delivery to Zipline sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Nigeria logistics for finished goods, aircraft and ground-equipment spares, and production materials.
- Develop shipment plans covering routing, consolidation, port and airport handoffs, inland transportation, delivery appointments, and receipt confirmation.
- Manage import processes and customs clearance, including permits, licenses, exemptions, approvals, renewals, and required documentation.
- Work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, transporters, and warehouse partners.
- Monitor third-party logistics providers against service, cost, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy across Nigeria storage locations through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and stock monitoring.
- Improve visibility into inventory and replenishment requirements.
- Develop and improve SOPs covering inbound transportation, customs, warehousing, inventory, and emergency shipments.
- Monitor logistics performance using KPIs such as on-time delivery, customs-clearance lead time, inventory accuracy, landed cost, and partner service levels.
- Identify logistics risks and present practical options and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, although equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Direct experience with international inbound freight and customs clearance.
- Experience with inland transportation, warehouse operations, and inventory controls in Nigeria or a similarly complex environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage an operational function with limited supervision.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, make operational tradeoffs, anticipate issues, and deliver through external partners.
- Ability to analyze shipment, inventory, vendor, and cost data and turn insights into decisions and action plans.
- Experience developing SOPs, dashboards, controls, or operational processes.
- Strong commercial judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, transporters, warehouse providers, senior stakeholders, and government-facing representatives.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and persistence in a regulated and complex operating environment.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to work from Lagos, with domestic Nigerian and occasional international travel.
About the Role
The Senior Logistics Analyst will serve as a country-level logistics owner for Zipline Nigeria. The position covers the full logistics chain, from international inbound shipments and customs clearance to warehousing, inventory control, inland transportation, and final delivery to operational sites.
The role requires strong Supply Chain knowledge, practical experience in Customs Clearance, and the ability to maintain accurate Inventory Management processes while coordinating multiple logistics partners.
