Land Surveyor at Leisure Court Nigeria Limited
Leisure Court Nigeria Limited is recruiting for the position of Land Surveyor in Abuja. The successful candidate will support real estate development and construction projects through accurate land measurements, boundary verification, mapping, survey data analysis, and site monitoring.
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting topographical, boundary, engineering, and construction surveys while ensuring that project activities comply with approved layouts, surveying standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographical, boundary, engineering, and construction surveys.
- Carry out site measurements and establish control points and benchmarks.
- Prepare survey plans, maps, technical drawings, reports, and as-built drawings.
- Operate and maintain Total Station, GPS, Levels, Theodolite, Drones, and other surveying equipment.
- Verify property boundaries, coordinates, and site dimensions.
- Analyse and interpret survey data for project planning and development.
- Maintain accurate survey records and documentation.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and construction teams.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved layouts and specifications.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies on survey approvals, land documentation, and regulatory matters.
- Ensure compliance with professional surveying standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Surveying & Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in land surveying, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS software, and other surveying applications.
- Strong knowledge of land laws, boundary determination, and surveying regulations.
- Ability to operate GPS, Total Station, Theodolite, Drones, and related equipment.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Professional registration with SURCON or another relevant professional body is an added advantage.
