Graceurt Luxury Homes is recruiting for the position of Laundry Attendant in Ogba, Lagos. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for collecting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and storing linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
The role requires experience in Laundry Operations, preferably within a hotel, luxury apartment, or other Hospitality Jobs environment. Candidates should be comfortable operating Laundry Equipment and following appropriate health, safety, and chemical-handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and process soiled linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, pressing equipment, and other laundry equipment safely.
- Treat stains and inspect laundry before and after cleaning.
- Report damaged or defective items to the supervisor.
- Fold, stack, and properly store clean laundry.
- Deliver cleaned items to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory of linens and laundry supplies.
- Notify management when laundry supplies or linen stocks are low.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with special laundry requests from guests and other departments.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain laundry equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
