Job Summary
The Quality Data Analyst will be responsible for analysing inspection, audit, non-conformance (NCR), supplier, and project quality data to identify trends, minimise risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will develop dashboards, generate management reports, and ensure data accuracy to support informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Data Analyst, you will:
- Define quality data requirements, KPI definitions, reporting standards, and validation processes.
- Consolidate, clean, and validate data from inspections, audits, NCRs, weld/NDT registers, supplier records, test packs, and project handover systems.
- Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, trend reports, Pareto analyses, ageing reports, and early warning indicators.
- Analyse defects, rework, repairs, audits, supplier performance, and first-pass acceptance trends across projects.
- Verify source-to-report traceability and resolve incomplete, duplicate, or inconsistent data.
- Collaborate with QA/QC and project teams to investigate quality issues and evaluate corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality performance reports for management review.
- Maintain quality registers, reporting templates, lessons learned databases, and master data with proper version control.
- Automate recurring reporting processes while ensuring transparency and auditability.

Requirements
To qualify for this Quality Data Analyst position, applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, inspection, project controls, or operational data analysis.
- At least 2 years of experience in analytics and reporting.
- Advanced spreadsheet and dashboard development skills.
- Experience with databases, business intelligence tools, or scripting languages is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, inspection workflows, NCR management, audit reporting, and supplier quality systems.
- Excellent analytical thinking, data validation, technical writing, and visual reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications will be an added advantage:
- Professional certification in Quality Management, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Statistics.
- ISO 9001 awareness or Internal Auditor training.
- Familiarity with project controls, inspection management, document control, or project completion systems.
