Job Summary
The Tech Volunteer Assistant will provide technical support, assist with program coordination, support virtual events, manage digital communications, and help promote the organization’s technology products and services across multiple online platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day technical support to customers and technology enthusiasts.
- Assisting with the management of technology programs and onboarding processes.
- Scheduling appointments for technology events and announcements.
- Setting up and managing audio-visual equipment for meetings, trainings, and events.
- Supporting livestreams and virtual meetings.
- Hosting virtual sessions and presentations for new customers and aspiring tech professionals.
- Tracking new customers and providing online assistance regarding the organization’s services.
- Scheduling and sending email notifications.
- Promoting the organization’s technology products and services on social media platforms.
- Organizing and securely maintaining digital records.
- Training staff on basic technology tools and software when required.
- Performing other technology-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- OND, HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or be currently enrolled in a technology training institution.
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as Google Workspace, Trello, Salesforce, Asana, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, organizational, and digital skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Salary
- ₦50,000 – ₦200,000 per month
