Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the company’s financial operations, develop long-term financial strategies, and support sustainable business growth across its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will provide executive-level financial leadership while ensuring compliance, profitability, and sound financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls and corporate financial governance.
- Drive profitability through financial analysis and strategic business insights.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Partner with executive management to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
- Between seven (7) and ten (10) years of experience in senior finance leadership roles.
- Banking industry experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Taxation
- Internal controls
- Financial strategy
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Salary
- ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 per month
