Key Responsibilities
As the Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Welcome visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Ensure visitors sign in and follow company entry procedures.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate offices or personnel.
- Answer, screen, and transfer incoming telephone calls.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area.
- Receive, sort, record, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and documentation.
- Respond to client and visitor enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment with the Administration or Procurement team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or in a similar role will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
