Job Description

The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for processing vendor payments, verifying invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring suppliers are paid promptly. The role also involves supporting month-end financial activities while maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Review, verify, and accurately code vendor invoices.
• Perform three-way invoice matching by comparing invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Schedule and process supplier payments through approved payment channels.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Respond to internal and external payment-related inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing accrual and prepayment schedules.
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records.

Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Degree or professional certification in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Relevant practical accounting experience will also be considered.
• Proficiency in accounting ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Applicants must reside in Ajah or nearby areas.
