About the Role
You will be part of the EMEA Customer Excellence team at Commodity Insights, focusing on value, trust, and customer delight. The role sits within the broader Customer Experience team and involves proactive engagement with clients to ensure they get the most out of S&P Global’s solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Success Manager in Abuja, you will engage proactively with customers to understand their needs and ensure maximum value from the company’s solutions. You will onboard new clients, conduct remote and in-person training sessions, and tailor engagements to each customer’s workflows and goals.
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, monitor customer usage data to uncover engagement opportunities, and serve as a trusted advisor providing actionable insights. The role also requires cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless customer experiences, proactive support to anticipate client challenges, and accurate logging of all engagement activities in Salesforce.
A commitment to continual learning is essential, as you will be expected to stay current with energy sector jobs Nigeria trends, regional market developments, and product updates to enrich every client interaction.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related role. Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM is an added advantage, as is knowledge of the energy, commodities, or finance industries. The role requires the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and willingness to travel to meet clients.
