Job Title: Software Developer

Job Role

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Laravel PHP and Node.js with the NestJS framework, ensuring strong performance and security
• Design database structures, optimize queries, and manage databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Build responsive and high-performing user interfaces using React and Next.js with modern frontend architecture and state management
• Create reusable frontend components and maintain design systems while ensuring cross-browser compatibility
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, including implementation of server-side rendering and static site generation where necessary
• Collaborate on full lifecycle feature development, contribute to system architecture, and support technical planning for scalable solutions
• Write unit and integration tests, debug issues across the stack, and maintain high code quality through reviews
• Work with DevOps teams to manage deployments, infrastructure, and ensure reliable application performance in cloud environments

Qualifications

• BSc or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline with at least 4 years of professional experience
• Strong backend development experience with Laravel PHP and Node.js using NestJS
• Advanced frontend development skills with React and Next.js, including responsive design and state management
• Proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications
• Solid knowledge of database design and optimization with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL and WebSocket integration
• Good understanding of version control systems such as Git and software testing principles
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
