The Admin Supervisor will oversee administrative, inventory, procurement, and store management activities at Hothobs Cuisines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adequate stock levels, accurate inventory records, efficient procurement, proper storage, supplier coordination, and effective supervision of support staff.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in Inventory Management Jobs, procurement, administration, or store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Stock Management
- Take responsibility for company supplies, food items, consumables, and kitchen materials.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement reports.
- Investigate and report stock shortages, losses, and discrepancies.
- Track the usage and issuance of supplies across departments and events.
Store Management
- Oversee the dry store, wet store, and other storage areas.
- Ensure food items and supplies are properly organised and stored.
- Monitor stock rotation and ensure older products are used first.
- Ensure all items are properly labelled and stored according to company standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of storage areas.
Cold Room and Refrigerator Management
- Take responsibility for refrigerators, freezers, and cold storage facilities.
- Monitor storage temperatures to support food safety standards.
- Maintain records of items stored in cold storage and their usage.
- Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements promptly.
Procurement and Market Operations
- Supervise market runs and procurement activities.
- Verify purchase lists before procurement activities are carried out.
- Ensure purchased items meet the required quality standards.
- Compare market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Confirm that purchased items are accurately delivered, checked, and recorded.
Supplier and Vendor Coordination
- Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Source reliable suppliers for food items and operational requirements.
- Follow up on deliveries and ensure orders are received as scheduled.
- Report supplier-related issues to management and recommend alternatives where necessary.
Documentation and Accountability
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, stock issuance, and stock balances.
- Prepare inventory and procurement reports for management.
- Ensure proper documentation of all stock movements.
- Monitor supply usage across departments and events.
- Promote accountability in the handling of company resources.
Staff Supervision
- Supervise storekeepers, procurement staff, and other support personnel.
- Assign duties and monitor staff performance.
- Ensure staff follow company procedures for stock handling and storage.
- Promote efficiency, accountability, and professionalism among team members.
Cost Control and Waste Reduction
- Monitor food and supply usage to minimise wastage.
- Implement measures to prevent theft, loss, and misuse of company property.
- Recommend ways to improve inventory efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure company resources are properly utilised.
Compliance and Operational Standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage requirements.
- Maintain clean and organised storage facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections of stores and storage equipment.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Key Performance Indicators
Performance in the Admin Supervisor role will be assessed based on:

Salary
₦50,000–₦100,000 per month.
