Job Overview
The CAD Designer or Drafter will be responsible for translating engineering concepts into detailed and accurate technical drawings. This includes developing both 2D and 3D designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
This role requires close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure that all designs are practical, accurate, and ready for implementation. It is well suited for candidates with strong experience in AutoCAD jobs and construction design environments.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will review project plans and technical documents to understand requirements and project scope. They will create detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on engineering specifications.

Requirements
Applicants should possess a BSc or HND in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. However, extensive practical experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, particularly in AutoCAD with a focus on structural or MEP design. Strong knowledge of engineering design standards and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications are essential.
Proficiency in design and construction software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SolidWorks, Navisworks, Tekla Structures, or similar tools is required. Experience with structural analysis software like STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA-3D, or Robot Structural Analysis will be an added advantage.
