Job Summary
Greywood Hotels & Apartments is seeking a vigilant and dependable Dependable Security Personnel to safeguard guests, employees, visitors, and hotel property.
The successful candidate will maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access to the premises, and responding promptly and professionally to security incidents and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol the hotel premises, including entrances, exits, hallways, parking areas, and other designated locations.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems for suspicious activities.
- Control access to the hotel and verify visitors, vendors, and contractors where necessary.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
- Escort guests or staff to parking areas and other parts of the premises when required.
- Identify and report security breaches, safety hazards, suspicious activities, and unusual occurrences to management.
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports.
- Maintain security logs and other relevant records.
- Work closely with the front office, maintenance, and management teams to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Enforce hotel security policies, procedures, and access-control measures.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests while carrying out security duties.
- Participate in evacuation exercises and emergency drills.
- Support compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures within the hotel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during high-pressure situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Trustworthy, disciplined, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
