Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage import and export shipments from documentation through clearance and delivery.
- Coordinate shipping activities to ensure timely clearance and receipt of goods.
- Prepare, review, and maintain import/export and shipping documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs requirements and applicable international trade regulations.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping lines, and logistics service providers.
- Monitor the performance of logistics and shipping partners.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with relevant service providers.
- Monitor import and export logistics costs and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.
- Track shipments and resolve issues that may affect delivery timelines.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in import/export, logistics, or international trade.
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures.
- Good understanding of import/export documentation and clearance processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple shipments and logistics stakeholders effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certification in logistics, supply chain, or international trade will be an advantage.
