Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting for an Engineering Relations Partner to join its Corporate Affairs and Research & Development teams. The role focuses on translating complex engineering work, technical discoveries, and innovations into compelling content that resonates with engineers and technology communities worldwide.
The Engineering Relations Partner will work closely with engineering teams to identify impactful technical stories, develop high-quality narratives, and showcase Moniepoint’s engineering capabilities to a global audience.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with software engineering teams to understand technical projects, systems, challenges, and innovations.
- Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging technical content.
- Identify compelling stories and technical developments worth sharing with engineering communities.
- Develop narratives that demonstrate the quality and depth of Moniepoint’s engineering work.
- Create content capable of earning credibility and recognition within global engineering communities.
- Support submissions for technical conferences and other industry events.
- Collaborate with engineering, corporate affairs, creative, and production teams on content projects.
- Manage multiple content initiatives, deadlines, and projects independently in a remote environment.
- Help strengthen Moniepoint’s reputation among software engineers and technology professionals.
Requirements
- Background in software engineering or computer science.
- Previous professional software development or engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of how software engineering teams operate.
- Experience working in fintech, infrastructure, or high-scale engineering environments.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and accurately.
- Strong storytelling and content development abilities.
- Ability to identify interesting technical stories without waiting for assignments.
- Understanding of what makes technical content credible and valuable to engineering communities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines remotely.
Additional Advantage
Candidates with the following experience will have an added advantage:
- Developer relations or technical community management.
- Writing conference talk abstracts or proposals, particularly those accepted at recognised conferences.
- Technical video scripting or collaboration with creative and production teams.
- An established presence within engineering communities through blogging, open-source contributions, speaking engagements, or developer-focused platforms.
