Emergency & Occupational Health Officer at ATRaS Mobility Ecosystem – P-GAT Industries Limited
ATRaS Mobility Ecosystem, launched by P-GAT Industries Limited, is recruiting Emergency & Occupational Health Officer candidates to support its transport modernization and green mobility initiative across Northeast Nigeria.
The position is available in Numan, Yola, and Mubi, Adamawa State, with 3 openings available.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support occupational health and emergency-response activities for staff and riders. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating first-response activities during emergencies and incidents.
- Providing medical support during workplace and operational incidents.
- Monitoring occupational and workplace health risks.
- Supporting workplace health and safety activities.
- Facilitating appropriate medical referrals when required.
- Participating in relevant field and operational activities across assigned locations.
Requirements
Candidates applying for the Emergency & Occupational Health Officer position should have:
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree, professional health qualification, or recognised health and safety qualification appropriate to the role.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in occupational health, emergency response, workplace health, clinical support, or a related field.
- Current professional registration or licence where applicable.
- First aid, emergency care, occupational health, or health-and-safety certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong integrity, professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and commitment to service delivery.
- Applicable current professional credentials required to lawfully perform the role.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and willing and available to work in Adamawa State, Nigeria. Candidates must provide accurate and verifiable academic, professional, and employment records.
Employment Terms
This is primarily a full-time position, although part-time or contract engagement may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on operational requirements and candidate suitability.
Successful candidates may be required to work across assigned locations within Adamawa State and participate in field activities.
