Production Operations Supervisor at KPMG Nigeria
KPMG Nigeria is recruiting a Production Operations Supervisor to support oil and gas clients in Lagos. The role focuses on production operations, maintenance planning, scheduling, resource coordination, operational readiness, and execution support.
The successful candidate will oversee planning activities that promote safe, reliable, and efficient production operations while coordinating teams, contractors, equipment, and other operational resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimisation of integrated maintenance plans and schedules.
- Drive resource planning, allocation, and levelling for personnel, contractors, and equipment.
- Oversee the preparation and quality assurance of execution-ready work packs.
- Lead Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) sessions, planning reviews, and schedule governance meetings.
- Ensure maintenance schedules account for operational risks, resource limitations, and material readiness.
- Coordinate planning teams with field execution teams to support safe and efficient work execution.
- Oversee material, contractor, equipment, and resource readiness.
- Supervise Production Operations Officers and coordinate their workloads.
- Serve as the escalation point for planning, scheduling, resource, and execution-related issues.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members.
- Monitor planning performance and drive continuous improvement across production operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA.
- 5–8 years of offshore experience in production operations, maintenance planning, scheduling, or asset integrity.
- Demonstrated supervisory or coordination experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, or asset management platforms.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, or large industrial operational environments is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Primavera P6, APICS/ASCM, NEBOSH, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
