Treasury Manager at Peopleware Consulting Limited
Peopleware Consulting Limited is recruiting on behalf of its client for an experienced and commercially minded Treasury Manager to oversee cash management, liquidity, banking relationships, and treasury operations in Lagos.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient management of the organisation’s cash resources, maintaining adequate liquidity, minimising financial risks, and providing management with reliable financial insights for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and treasury reports.
- Oversee bank accounts, transactions, reconciliations, and cash movements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Monitor and optimise cash balances and short-term investments.
- Ensure timely payments and effective management of financial obligations.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure and interest rate risks where applicable.
- Develop and maintain effective treasury controls, policies, and processes.
- Review banking charges and negotiate favourable banking terms.
- Monitor borrowing facilities, interest payments, and debt obligations.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide management with accurate reports and insights on liquidity and cash positions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate treasury and financial risks.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, audits, and other finance initiatives.
- Lead and develop the treasury team.
- Drive continuous improvement of treasury processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
- 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, including significant treasury or cash management experience.
- Proven experience in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and financial risk management.
- Experience managing banking relationships and treasury systems.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory finance position.

Salary
₦500,000 – ₦650,000 per month.
