Job Summary
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery to ensure maximum equipment performance while minimizing downtime.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting efficient manufacturing operations through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure machines operate efficiently to support uninterrupted production.
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Maintain a safe working environment while complying with company maintenance procedures.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Between two (2) and five (5) years of experience as a Machine Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical maintenance team.
Salary
Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₦200,000 to ₦250,000.
