Job Summary
The Poultry Processing Operator will be responsible for carrying out poultry processing activities safely, hygienically, and efficiently while ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Operate poultry processing lines, including slaughtering, scalding, defeathering, evisceration, washing, chilling, cutting, deboning, weighing, packaging, and loading.
- Ensure proper trimming and portioning of poultry products.
- Verify that processed products meet required weight and quality specifications before packaging.
- Ensure product labels are accurate and properly attached.
- Operate manual and automated processing equipment professionally and safely.
- Clean processing equipment and production facilities after operations.
- Comply with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety guidelines.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced processing environment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, quality control, and workplace safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high production standards.
