Job Summary
The Kitchen Assistant will support the kitchen team with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure that hygiene and food safety standards are followed at all times.
No prior experience is required, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Help arrange and properly store food items and kitchen supplies.
- Assist in preparing the kitchen before service and cleaning up afterwards.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and keep work areas tidy.
- Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of kitchen operations.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum of SSCE (preferred but not compulsory).
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of work experience.
- No previous experience is required as training will be provided.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.

- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods.
