DropX is building an AI-assisted last-mile delivery network and e-commerce infrastructure in Lagos, with a strong focus on innovation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Job Summary
The Commercial & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, strengthening the company’s brand, developing strategic partnerships, increasing revenue, and supporting market expansion initiatives.
The successful candidate should be commercially driven, possess strong marketing expertise, and have a proven ability to deliver measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing and commercial strategies to increase revenue.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with e-commerce businesses, merchants, and other stakeholders.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to align commercial objectives with business goals.
- Monitor business performance and prepare reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Support market expansion and business development initiatives.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Marketing, Business Development, Commercial Management, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, technology, supply chain, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition strategies, partnership development, and revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
