Job Description
The Finance Executive will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in preparing financial reports. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and relevant documentation.
- Calculate and prepare tax filings, including VAT and withholding tax where applicable.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting and financial issues.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage.
Salary
Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from:
₦250,000 – ₦300,000
