Job Overview

The Mechanical & Electrical Engineer will oversee the installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. The successful candidate will also support engineering projects and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
• Coordinate installation and maintenance activities with contractors and vendors.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
• Support the execution of mechanical and electrical engineering projects.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in construction, facility management, or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant professional engineering certifications will be an added advantage.
