  • Location: Odongunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month

About the Graduate Trainee Programme

The Graduate Engineer Trainee Programme is a structured learning initiative that provides practical exposure to engineering operations, maintenance, process improvement, project execution, and technical analysis.

Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training while developing the professional and technical competencies required for a rewarding engineering career.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will:

  • Participate actively in the company’s graduate trainee development programme.
  • Support engineering and operational activities across assigned departments.
  • Assist in monitoring equipment performance and operational efficiency.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Participate in materials evaluation, inspection, testing, and quality control processes.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering records, and documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
  • Between 0 and 2 years of relevant work experience.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and/or materials engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic industrial environment.

Added Advantage

Experience or exposure to any of the following will be an advantage:

  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Maintenance systems
  • Process analysis
  • Materials analysis tools

Salary and Benefits

Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from:

₦100,000 – ₦150,000

In addition to competitive remuneration, participants will benefit from structured technical training, practical industry exposure, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
