Job Summary
The Programme Executive Business Development will support the execution of business initiatives by identifying opportunities, securing partnerships, and driving stakeholder engagement. The role also involves supporting programme delivery, events, and marketing efforts to promote the organization’s services and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Opportunity Identification
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams
Support business development strategies and implementation plans
Conduct market research to identify clients, sponsors, and collaborators
Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and partnership documents
Partnership Development and Management
Build and maintain relationships with corporate organizations and government stakeholders
Support B2B and B2G engagement initiatives
Assist in managing partnerships to ensure value delivery and retention
Programme and Initiative Support
Support planning and execution of programmes and capacity-building initiatives
Coordinate programme activities and stakeholder communication
Ensure alignment with organizational goals and partner expectations
Event Support and Promotion
Assist in planning and executing flagship events and industry engagements
Drive sponsor, partner, and delegate acquisition
Support event promotion through outreach and marketing collaboration
Marketing and Promotion
Promote services, research outputs, and initiatives to target audiences
Support development of marketing campaigns and materials
Represent the organization at meetings and industry events
Reporting and Performance Tracking
Track leads, opportunities, and conversion rates
Prepare reports on partnerships and programme outcomes
Maintain accurate records of stakeholder engagement
Key Performance Indicators
Number of new business opportunities identified and converted
Growth in partnerships and stakeholder engagement
Revenue contribution from programmes and events
Successful delivery of assigned initiatives
Lead generation and pipeline development
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field
4 to 6 years experience in business development, partnerships, or programme coordination
Proven ability to secure and manage high-value collaborations
Experience supporting revenue-generating initiatives
