Scholarship Categories
The Masters scholarship Nigeria 2026 is available under two categories. The Overseas Category is for candidates who have secured admission into reputable international universities. The Local Category is for candidates studying in recognized Nigerian universities. Applicants for the Overseas Category are encouraged to also apply under the Local Category.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates under this Nigerian Agip Exploration scholarship will receive full tuition fees, accommodation, a monthly living stipend, flight tickets, visa fees, and all other approved study-related expenses.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this award, applicants must hold a minimum of a Second Class Upper bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university, have secured admission into a one-year Master’s programme in an eligible discipline, be 28 years old or below by 31st December 2026, have completed the NYSC programme, and hold a valid international passport with at least one year of validity from September 2026 for overseas applicants.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare the following before starting their application: a recent passport photograph with a white background not older than six months, a provisional admission letter for 2026/2027 postgraduate studies, a First Degree Certificate, an NYSC Discharge Certificate, a valid ID card such as a National ID, Driver’s Licence, or Voter’s Card, a valid international passport for overseas category applicants, a birth certificate from the Local Government, and the NAE Compliance Declaration Form.
