Job Overview
The Senior Lecturer (Public Relations) will join the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences and contribute to teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, academic leadership, and university service.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures and other teaching activities in Public Relations and related areas.
- Develop and deliver course materials in line with approved academic programmes.
- Conduct research and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Publish research findings in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
- Participate in postgraduate teaching and academic supervision.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic programme improvement.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committees.
- Provide academic leadership and contribute to university service.
- Support students through academic guidance and mentorship.
- Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, and other scholarly activities.
- Maintain professional standards in teaching, research, and academic administration.
Requirements and Qualifications
- PhD in Public Relations or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Strong record of publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Demonstrated capacity for postgraduate teaching and supervision.
- Evidence of academic leadership and service.
- Recognised academic and professional qualifications.
- ICT proficiency.
- Strong teaching and research capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
