Job Summary
The Technical Engineering Trainee programme is an entry-level opportunity for recent engineering graduates who have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Successful candidates will receive comprehensive on-the-job technical training while working across key industrial operations.
Available Training Areas
Successful applicants will be assigned to one of the following departments:
- Power Plant & Utility
- Electrical & Instrumentation
- Metallizer Slitting
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Engineering Trainee, you will:
- Participate in structured technical and industrial training programmes.
- Learn equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Support engineering teams in daily operational activities.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and technical inspections.
- Follow workplace safety standards and operational procedures.
- Work closely with experienced engineers to develop technical competencies.
Requirements
To qualify for this Technical Engineering Trainee position, applicants should possess:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) minimum qualification in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Must have recently completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- No prior work experience is required.
