Job Summary
COISCO Integrated Resources and Petroleum Limited is seeking an experienced LPG Manager to lead the development, installation, commissioning, and operational management of LPG facilities across existing and new outlets.
The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with operational leadership to establish safe, efficient, and standardised LPG operations. The role covers facility development, SOP implementation, staff training, HSE, maintenance, compliance, and continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities
LPG Facility Development and Commissioning
- Lead the installation and commissioning of LPG plants at existing outlets and new locations.
- Coordinate LPG facility projects from planning and design through installation, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Work with engineers, contractors, and technical teams to ensure successful facility implementation.
- Ensure LPG facilities meet applicable technical, regulatory, HSE, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders during installation and commissioning activities.
Operations and SOP Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive LPG operational SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and control processes.
- Establish procedures for LPG receiving, storage, dispensing, cylinder handling, stock management, emergency response, and daily operations.
- Monitor plant performance, inventory, losses, equipment condition, and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce losses, optimise costs, and enhance operational performance.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to management on LPG expansion and facility development.
Safety, HSE and Compliance
- Establish appropriate safety and competency standards for personnel working around LPG facilities.
- Conduct operational and safety assessments across LPG outlets.
- Identify safety gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support emergency preparedness and response procedures.
- Lead investigations into LPG-related incidents, equipment failures, losses, and operational deviations.
- Ensure LPG operations follow applicable HSE and regulatory requirements.
Training and People Development
- Develop and deliver practical training programmes for LPG plant operators and relevant station personnel.
- Establish competency requirements for employees involved in LPG operations.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to plant personnel.
- Promote safe working practices and adherence to established procedures.
Maintenance and Documentation
- Develop preventive maintenance standards for LPG equipment and facilities.
- Ensure equipment is serviced and maintained according to established schedules.
- Maintain commissioning records, equipment certifications, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure accurate operational reporting and proper documentation across LPG facilities.
Candidates with experience in LPG Operations Jobs should be able to manage both technical facility requirements and day-to-day operational processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in LPG, gas operations, petroleum, or downstream oil and gas operations.
- Demonstrable experience in LPG plant installation, commissioning, and operations.
- Strong practical knowledge of LPG storage, handling, dispensing, safety, and facility management.
- Proven experience developing SOPs, operational standards, and control processes.
- Experience training and developing operational personnel.
- Strong knowledge of HSE, risk assessment, emergency response, and safe LPG handling practices.
- Experience managing contractors, technical teams, and facility installation projects.
- Strong documentation, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work across different locations.
- Relevant professional certifications in LPG, Engineering, HSE, or Oil & Gas will be an advantage.
Experience in Downstream Oil and Gas Jobs in Nigeria and familiarity with LPG facility standards will be particularly relevant to this position.
