The company is seeking an experienced Food Manufacturing Project Manager to manage food manufacturing and product development projects for clients across multiple industries.

The Food Manufacturing Project Manager will oversee food manufacturing and product development projects from initial concept through commercialisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing timelines and budgets, supporting manufacturing readiness, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead food manufacturing and product development projects from concept to market.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables and client expectations.
• Coordinate product formulation, pilot production, scale-up and commercialisation activities.
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, GMP, HACCP and other applicable food safety standards.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to improve production processes and product quality.
• Support proposal development, project scoping and client engagement.
• Coordinate stakeholders involved in product development and manufacturing projects.
• Monitor project progress and address potential delays or operational challenges.
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Support the successful transition of products from development into commercial production.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in food manufacturing, product development or food processing.
• Proven experience managing food products from concept through commercial production.
• Strong knowledge of NAFDAC registration, GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing processes.
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Hands-on experience working within a food manufacturing facility or food processing company is required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of technical food manufacturing knowledge and project management expertise.
