The Estate Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing security operations within a residential estate, ensuring effective access control, surveillance, patrols, incident reporting, and overall safety of residents, visitors, staff, and property.
This role is suitable for an experienced security professional with strong supervisory skills and knowledge of estate security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily security operations across the estate.
- Monitor access control procedures for residents, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
- Operate and monitor CCTV surveillance systems to identify potential security threats.
- Conduct regular patrols and maintain effective surveillance of the estate.
- Identify, prevent, and promptly report suspicious activities and security incidents.
- Maintain accurate security logs, visitor registers, and incident reports.
- Coordinate security personnel and ensure compliance with established security procedures.
- Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
- Support the implementation of fire safety, first aid, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain a high level of alertness and ensure security standards are consistently followed.
- Prepare clear and accurate security reports for management.
- Ensure security personnel maintain professional conduct and discipline while on duty.
Requirements
- Minimum of an OND from a recognised institution.
- Formal security training from a recognised security training institution or company.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in estate, residential, corporate, or similar security operations, including supervisory experience.
- Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to operate and monitor CCTV surveillance systems.
- Good knowledge of access control and screening procedures.
- Ability to conduct regular security patrols and maintain effective surveillance.
- Ability to identify, prevent, and report suspicious activities and security incidents promptly.
- Basic knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate security logs, visitor records, and incident reports.
- Physically fit, alert, disciplined, and willing to work day and night shifts.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- High level of integrity, honesty, professionalism, and sound judgement.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Estate Security Jobs and be capable of supervising security personnel while maintaining effective access control and surveillance. Candidates with strong CCTV monitoring skills and experience in CCTV Security Jobs will be well suited to the position.
Experience in Security Jobs in Lagos and previous responsibility for leading security teams will be an advantage.
