Ekris Bio Health Foods Nigeria Limited, an innovative indigenous food manufacturing and packaging company in Nigeria, is recruiting qualified candidates for the position of Driver at its Akowonjo, Lagos location.
The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff, products, documents, and other company items while ensuring timely movement and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
The successful Driver will be responsible for:
- Safely transporting staff, products, documents, and other company items as assigned.
- Navigating Lagos efficiently and ensuring timely arrival at destinations.
- Maintaining the assigned vehicle in good working condition.
- Conducting routine vehicle checks and promptly reporting faults or maintenance requirements.
- Observing all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintaining accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and other relevant vehicle activities.
- Ensuring the safe handling and delivery of company products.
- Maintaining professionalism when interacting with customers, staff, and business partners.
- Supporting the company with scheduled deliveries and official movements as required.
Requirements
Candidates applying for the Driver position should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Lagos routes, major roads, and different locations.
- Ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications.
- A punctual, reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Ability to drive carefully and maintain the assigned vehicle properly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery or movement schedules.
- Previous experience with an FMCG, logistics, or distribution company is an added advantage.
