Responsibilities
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the school premises. Key duties may include:
- Clean classrooms, offices, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safely handle cleaning materials and equipment.
- Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and maintained regularly.
- Identify and report cleaning, maintenance, or hygiene issues when necessary.
- Properly store cleaning materials and equipment after use.
- Support the cleaning team with routine and special cleaning tasks.
- Maintain professional conduct when interacting with pupils, staff, visitors, and other members of the school community.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of FSLC or SSCE.
- Previous cleaning experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and safe handling of cleaning materials.
- Hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, and physically fit.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good personal hygiene and professional conduct.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be responsible, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe learning environment. Previous experience in school cleaning or a similar environment will be an added advantage.
