Prime Pharmacy is recruiting an experienced Superintendent Pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical services and pharmacy operations at its Area 11, Garki branch in Abuja. The successful candidate will provide patient-centred pharmaceutical care, supervise pharmacy staff, dispense medications, and ensure effective day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Counsel patients on medication use and general health concerns.
- Guide clients on the appropriate use of over-the-counter medications.
- Process prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.
- Provide reliable and unbiased drug information to patients, healthcare professionals, and the public.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical care.
- Oversee pharmacy operations in line with Prime Pharmacy’s mission, vision, and values.
- Coordinate and supervise pharmacists, interns, pharmacy technicians, sales assistants, and cashiers.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy and administrative records.
- Perform other pharmaceutical and healthcare-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a qualified and registered pharmacist.
- Must possess a current annual practising licence issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Relevant years of professional experience and previous supervisory experience are an advantage.
- Relevant professional training and certifications are an added advantage.
