Job Description
Swift Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design, install, maintain, and supervise electrical systems with a strong emphasis on solar photovoltaic systems, power generation, electrical wiring, and power distribution projects.
The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical installations meet safety regulations while delivering high-quality technical solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Plan, supervise, and maintain power generation systems.
- Carry out electrical wiring for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems.
- Conduct site surveys, electrical load assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Prepare electrical drawings, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations.
- Supervise technicians, contractors, and project teams during project execution.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Provide technical support and liaise with clients throughout project delivery.
Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, power generation, electrical wiring, and power distribution.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD or similar applications.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Membership of a recognized engineering professional body is an added advantage.
