Key Responsibilities
As a System Administrator, you will:
- Provide second-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Manage and administer network servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and enterprise technology tools.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including user access management, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring solutions.
- Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and support cybersecurity initiatives.
- Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and identity management systems.
- Maintain, monitor, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, system implementations, and technology rollouts.
- Promote information security awareness and best practices across the organization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and security.
- Ensure all IT activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, IT Infrastructure Support, or a similar role.
- Proven experience managing enterprise networks, servers, cloud environments, and data centre operations.
- Experience supporting ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
- Hands-on experience with backup, disaster recovery, and IT security solutions.
