Key Responsibilities

• The Accountant will manage the company’s financial records and ensure accurate reporting for business operations.
• You will handle full-cycle accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• You will prepare and analyze financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. These reports will include detailed variance analysis, especially for construction, drilling, or leasing operations.
• You will also manage lease agreements, track equipment usage, calculate payments, and oversee vendor and subcontractor transactions.
• Another key duty is conducting cost analysis across operations like drilling, crane rentals, fuel usage, and labor, then presenting insights to management.
• Tax compliance is part of the role, including handling VAT, property tax, and other industry-specific levies.

Requirements for Applicants

• Candidates must have at least three years of experience in one of the following sectors: oil and gas, heavy equipment leasing, or commercial construction.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• You should understand equipment costing, depreciation, and how to differentiate between repair expenses and capital improvements.
• Experience using ERP systems or accounting software is important for this role.
• You must also be able to explain financial data clearly to non-finance team members such as project managers or supervisors.
